Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee our restaurant & Bar operations and the newly refurbished Beachside location.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and culinary management, with a passion for food safety and team leadership. This role requires a hands-on approach to ensure the highest standards of food preparation and service, while fostering a positive work environment for all staff.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring efficient service and high-quality food production. Oversee team management, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations of staff members. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, safe working environment. Manage Rotas & Stock Ordering Monitor inventory levels & Stock takes Address customer feedback and concerns promptly to enhance guest satisfaction. Implement marketing strategies to promote the restaurant and increase patronage. Maintain financial records and assist in budgeting processes to achieve profitability goals.

Experience

Proven experience in a managerial role within the restaurant or hospitality industry is essential. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and practices is required. Experience in culinary roles such as cooking or food preparation is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively, fostering collaboration and motivation among staff. Familiarity with bartending, front of house, table Service is essential and enhancing the overall guest experience. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with both staff and customers.
