O'Reilly Precast are currently recruiting for a General Operative to join our production team in Cardiff.

The general operative will be responsible for batching concrete and loading finished product onto trucks for delivery to various job sites. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Batch concrete. Safely load finished products onto delivery trucks using forklifts, cranes or other lifting equipment. Inspect products for defects or damages before loading. Ensure that products are stored correctly and safely to prevent damage. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries. Maintain accurate records of loaded and unloaded products. Work as part of a team to carry out duties to meet deadlines. Transport and position concrete products within the yard using a forklift as required. Ensure plant and facilities are clean and tidy at all times

Requirements:

Experience in construction industry desirable Forklift certification preferred but training can be provided for the right candidate Flexible attitude to work Ability to follow instructions and work independently and as part of a team. Requires standing, lifting, and operating heavy machinery for extended periods.
