Role Purpose:
To work efficiently and safely whilst carrying out duties issued by the designated Foreman / Supervisor
What you'll be doing
Your accountabilities will be as follows:
Follow Balfour Beatty's 4 Golden Rules at all times.
Carry out work efficiently, safely, and to required standards.
Report hazards, near misses, and issues promptly to the Supervisor and via the hotline.
Complete inspections and maintenance checks accurately and on time.
Ensure task briefings are completed before starting work.
Notify the Supervisor or Chargehand of anything affecting progress (e.g. breakdowns, damages).
Maintain high standards in both the quality and quantity of work.
Actively participate in Daily Activity Briefings and team discussions.
Show a positive attitude and be willing to help others.
Be flexible with breaks and overtime when needed.
Understand various processes and equipment.
Demonstrate the Balfour Beatty Behaviours (6 E's).
Share knowledge and teach others when appropriate.
Collaborate closely with team members, Chargehands, and Supervisors.
Contribute ideas for improvement and be open to learning.
Ask questions when unsure and listen actively.
Who we're looking for
Essential:
Experience working on construction sites.
Valid HSE CSCS card.
Desirable:
Experience in concrete, drainage, and general groundworks.
Full UK driving licence.
