Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and proactive

General Operative

to join our team. This role involves supporting various operational tasks within our facility, ensuring smooth daily operations, and maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, hardworking, and eager to contribute to a dynamic work environment. Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.

Responsibilities

Assisting with the loading and unloading of materials and products using appropriate equipment. Supporting small bench based sub assembly work , packaging, or preparation of goods as required. Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of work areas to comply with health and safety standards. Operating basic machinery and tools safely under supervision. Conducting routine inspections to identify potential issues or hazards. Supporting team members with ad hoc tasks to ensure operational efficiency. Adhering to all safety procedures and company policies at all times.

Experience

Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environment is desirable but not mandatory. Basic understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to manual handling and operational tasks. Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Good organisational skills with attention to detail. Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks as required. Pay: 12.21-13.88 per hour
