Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable General Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by carrying out various tasks that contribute to the overall efficiency and productivity of our operations. This position requires a proactive individual who is able to work well in a team environment and follow instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

Carry out general duties as assigned, including but not limited to assembly, packaging, and quality control. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area to ensure a safe working environment. Operate machinery and equipment safely, adhering to all health and safety regulations. Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and products as required. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency in production processes. Report any issues or discrepancies to the supervisor promptly. Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production targets.

Experience

Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is advantageous but not essential. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance. Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Basic understanding of health and safety practices in an industrial setting is preferred.
