We are seeking a General Operative to join our team at our concrete plant at RT Mycock, Buxton, Derbyshire.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting customers to wheel barrow concrete from volumetric mixer to desired location

Support the concrete plant supervisor with the running of the plant, specifically with the production of the concrete blocks.

General maintenance and housekeeping of the site, to a high standard and actively identifying and implementing site improvements.

You will ensure that concrete orders are dispatched to meet customer requirements and conduct administration tasks.

You will be required to be flexible in duties undertaken, carrying out other tasks on this site or at other sites in the area

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with our drivers and other colleagues are all important.

It would be an advantage if you have worked in a similar role before and have a good understanding of production in a concrete plant, however full training will be provided.
