Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable General Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by performing a variety of tasks that support production and maintenance activities. This position requires a proactive individual who is able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Duties

Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all health and safety regulations. Assist in the assembly, packing, and quality control of products. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area to promote a safe working environment. Follow instructions from supervisors and contribute to team goals. Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any issues promptly. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to the role. Support other departments as needed to ensure operational efficiency.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is advantageous but not essential. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. Good physical fitness as the role may require lifting and standing for extended periods. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work effectively within a team as well as independently when required. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new skills.
