Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking General Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our processes and contribute to the overall efficiency of our production environment. This position requires a proactive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

Carry out various manual tasks as directed by supervisors, ensuring all work is completed to high standards. Assist in the loading and unloading of materials, maintaining an organised workspace. Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to the role.

Experience

Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided. Familiarity with health and safety regulations within a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred. Ability to work effectively in a team setting while also being self-motivated. Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn new tasks quickly. Physical fitness is important as the role may involve lifting and standing for extended periods.

Shift Rotation

Successful candidates will be placed onto one of the three continental shifts and will rotate through 6-2, 2-10 and 10-6 shifts on weekly basis. 37.5 hrs per week plus overtime when available.
