General Operator - Devices Team

Fixed Term Contract (FTC) 6-12 months

Chemring Energetics UK is a global business providing a range of equipment based on energetic materials for defence, civil defence and key commercial customers.

As our new General Operator, you'll be assembling small components and playing an important role in delivering high-quality products to our customers. Key Responsibilities:

Carry out all work in full compliance with Health & Safety legislation, company policies, and procedures. Proactively identify and report unsafe acts or conditions using the Near Miss System. Follow operating instructions and manufacturing documents carefully. Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in your work area. Complete tasks only once fully trained and deemed competent, understanding the associated hazards and controls. Wear and use the required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. Support a strong safety and quality culture within the team.

Qualifications & Experience:

Numeracy and literacy skills. Manual dexterity and attention to detail.
Desirable:

Experience in a production environment. Experience in soldering (training will be provided if required).
