The following are the core responsibilities of the GPA. There may be, on occasion, a requirement to carry out other tasks. This will be dependent upon factors such as workload and staffing levels: Operate the front desk and provide excellent customer service to patients and visitors in the practice Complete patient tasks by arranging follow-up appointments and sorting referrals Signpost patients to the correct service Manage the generic practice email and sort queries appropriately Manage all queries as necessary in an efficient manner
