Role

To conduct a wide range of activities relating to the modular construction preassembly and build processes

Key Responsibilities

Build to general assembly drawing requirements. Measuring and cutting various materials Using basic hand tools. Using power tools Ensuring products are to the correct tolerances meeting standards and specifications. Strong manual dexterity Contributing to continuous improvement activities. Experience of working to tight deadlines and changing priorities. The ability to understand and interpret technical drawings/SOP's. Experience working collaboratively in a team to achieve common goals. The ability to take a methodical and systematic approach to your work. Effective communication skills. Maintain accurate documentation in relation to the process. Report/escalate process issues through the appropriate channels. Report/escalate quality issues through the appropriate channels. Ensure a high level of housekeeping is maintained at all times. Maintain polite and good communication with colleagues at all times. Any other task deemed reasonable by supervision/Management.

Skills/Abilities

Basic mechanical understanding Ability to read and interpret drawings Experience of assembly methods Knowledge of modern manufacturing methodologies Physically capable to handle and move various materials Previous experience of manual labour Good level of numeracy and literacy Working knowledge of health and safety practises
