Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable General Operative to join our team in a busy production environment. Initially on a 3 month temporary basis with the possibility of a permanent position at the end of 3 months. The successful candidate will play a vital role in the production process, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. This position requires a strong commitment to deliver high quality work, with attention to detail and good organisation.

Duties

Running of our chemical cleaning process to meet daily targets in accordance with safety and operational controls. Operate production machinery and equipment efficiently and in accordance with safety protocols and operational guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area to promote a safe working environment. Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and maintain high-quality level of work. Record production data accurately, utilising basic maths skills for measurements and calculations. After completion of our in-house training program progress into Pressure Testing of our manufacturing. A highly controlled and responsible position. A good candidate could progress into our welding and brazing training program and achieve these highly technical skills.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a production / manufacturing environment is advantageous but not essential. Basic maths skills for accurate measurement and data recording. Mechanical knowledge to assist with equipment maintenance is desirable. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions meticulously. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. A proactive approach to problem-solving and willingness to learn new skills.

Contract length: 3 months

Pay: 12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 37 per week
