About this Role



Fixed Term until August 2026. Part-Time, Term Time Only + Training Days (39 weeks per year)



We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated General Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive school team. We have additional hours available to support children in our Breakfast and After School clubs as part of this role, offering the opportunity to make a real difference to children's learning and wellbeing throughout the school day. You will work closely with teaching staff to support learning across the curriculum, promote positive behaviour, and help create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment.

Through involvement in our wraparound care offering, you will play an active role in ensuring pupils are well cared for and engaged in fun, enriching activities before and after school.

Core Role - General Teaching Assistant (including daily Midday Supervisory role)



24.5 hours per week Monday, Tuesday, Friday 08:30 - 15:30 and Wednesday, Friday 13:00 - 15:30 Actual Salary: 14,007 per annum

Optional Additional Hours - Breakfast and After School Club



Up to 13 hours per week available Breakfast Club Monday, Tuesday and Friday 07:30 - 08:30 After School Club Monday - Friday 15:30 - 17:30 Rate: 12.65 - 13.05 per hour

About You



To be a good fit for this role, you will be:

Capable of working with individual pupils and small groups, under the direction of the class teacher to provide for each individual child's stage of development and interests, regardless of any disabilities, family backgrounds or medical history Able to support the class teacher in managing the classroom and its resources Keen to develop their role within the team with flexibility to meet the changing needs of children within our school Able to provide 1:1 support to pupils with Special Educational Needs. Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification is desirable but not essential
