The children, governors and staff of Kirkby and Great Broughton School are looking for a GTA to join our friendly school. The post will involve delivering group interventions including reading, English and maths primarily across Key Stage 2 and therefore it is essential that candidates have experience or knowledge of how children read and have had experience and are confident delivering interventions planned by the class teacher. The role will be 3 afternoons a week- the days of these can be negotiated.


We are a warm, caring and inclusive school with well-behaved children. Based in the heart of the community, we have strong church and community links. Our curriculum is broad and is underpinned by a strong Christian ethos that everyone in our community should shine





The successful candidate will set high expectations, inspire and challenge our pupils and be willing to work as part of a team.
