Salary: 24,413 to 25,185 per annum pro rata (Actual salary 9,181 to 9,472 per annum)

Grade: C

Contract: Fixed term maternity cover, term time only

Hours: 16.25 hours per week

Location: York, North Yorkshire, Forest of Galtres Anglican Methodist Primary School

We are looking to appoint a General Teaching Assistant for 16.25 hours per week, on a term time only basis to join our team at Forest of Galtres Anglican Methodist Primary School, fixed term to provide maternity cover up to November 2026, or until return of substantive postholder, whichever is sooner.





The hours of work are 16.25 hours per week, term time only. To work Monday - Friday 9.15am - 12.30pm. Also potential hours to work on a Friday from 12.30 - 3pm up to 31 August 2026





This role will work with Teachers to support teaching and learning by working with individuals or small groups of pupils under the direction of teaching staff, and may be responsible for some learning activities within the overall teaching plan with access to support and guidance as required.
