Summary







We are looking for a

Geospatial Land Surveyor

to join our

Digital Engineering Department

on a permanent basis in

London

. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of infrastructure and development projects, using cutting-edge surveying technology and geospatial workflows. You'll gain hands-on experience capturing and processing survey data, supporting BIM integration, and contributing to the delivery of high-quality projects, all within a collaborative and forward-thinking team environment.




The key accountabilities and associated duties include:





Conduct a variety of surveys, including topographic, engineering, control, and as-built surveys, using Total Stations, GNSS/RTK, and 3D laser scanners (TLS & SLAM). Capture, process, and register point cloud and photogrammetric data, generating accurate deliverables using CAD and geospatial software platforms. Maintain and adjust control and datum networks, ensuring positional accuracy and compliance with project specifications. Follow and support established geospatial workflows, contributing to efficient data capture and processing. Assist with BIM integration, ensuring geospatial data aligns with project information management requirements. Prepare field and project reports, manage datasets, and support QA/QC processes for all survey outputs. Follow and implement RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements) to ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards. Maintain and manage survey equipment, ensuring proper calibration and readiness for deployment. Liaise with internal teams, clients, and contractors to support effective project coordination and communication. Participate in ongoing training and development and provide support when required to junior team members.



Qualifications and Experience





2-5 years' experience in land or geospatial surveying. Degree or equivalent qualification in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field (Desirable but not essential) Competent in Total Station, GNSS/RTK, and 3D Laser Scanning methodologies. Proficient in AutoCAD, Cyclone, or other point cloud processing software. Familiarity with BIM workflows and ISO 19650 principles (desirable). Programming or scripting experience for geospatial data automation (desirable). Full, clean UK or EU Driving Licence. Possess a valid CSCS Card of Blue grade or higher - Gold, white or black. Sentinel card (desirable) LUWSI (desirable) PTS (desirable) Possess valid Right to Work in the UK. Excellent communication skills, fluent in written and spoken English. Willingness to travel and work nights/weekends occasionally as required.
