About the Role
We are seeking a motivated part-time Gift Admin Assistant to join our Development and Communications Directorate. In this role you will assist the Gift Administrator with processing fundraising income from a variety of channels to ensure donations are accurately recorded on our CRM and ERP systems. This role is key to ensuring excellent supporter care, timely income reports and accurate donations tracking across the Development team.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will play a vital role in the Database and Operations team, working alongside the Gift Administrator to build relationships with the fundraising team and finance colleagues. Your main tasks will be: Processing donations from a wide range of channels onto our fundraising database
Updating our fundraising database with biographical and gift details
Data validation and reconciling of donations entered
On site weekly processing of postal donations
Scanning and distributing important correspondence regarding donations and legacies received in the post for our fundraisers
About You
We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented, team player. This role is process driven and can be repetitive. You need to have excellent attention to detail and had some office experience. Ideally you're proficient in Excel and had experience of using a fundraising CRM. However, you will be given full training so the ability to learn, adapt and work flexibly is key. You will need to manage your time and plan your workload according to deadlines driven by the needs of the team.You will be passionate about helping the ICR achieve its mission to make the discoveries that defeat cancer.
