We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Glass Operative to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong Glass manufacturing knowledge and experience with both power and hand tools. This role involves assembling Glass windows, maintaining a clean and organised workspace, and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely within a warehouse environment.
Duties
Operate various hand tools and automated Machines to assemble products according to specifications.
Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance.
Assist in the organisation of the glass shop and storage areas , including inventory management and stock replenishment.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area to promote a safe working environment.
Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues as they arise during the assembly process.
Skills
Proficient in using power tools and hand tools for assembly tasks.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
Experience in a warehouse setting is preferred, demonstrating familiarity with inventory management practices.
Excellent attention to detail, ensuring high-quality workmanship in all tasks performed.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication skills.
