The Opportunity: Paint Shop Operative

Contract: Permanent

Location: Gwynedd Forklifts, Conwy Depot

Salary: 28,500

Established in 1986 to sell, hire, service and repair forklift trucks to the North Wales region and now growing to a multi-site operation with bases in Conwy, North Wales and Oswestry in Shropshire; Gwynedd Forklifts are the biggest material handling and powered access company in Wales. The Impact you will have:

The painting and refurbishment of forklifts and access equipment for customers and our fleet Preparation of the trucks prior to painting Spray and hand painting Basic mechanical refurbishment Maintaining a clean and orderly working area including common areas Adhering to all health and safety guidelines and workshop rules Completing job cards and ensuring all required parts to complete tasks are ordered

What will help you to excel in this role:

Experience of using basic tools and machinery Previous experience within a paint shop environment Good attention to detail The ability to work independently and under pressure The ability to manage and prioritise workload
