Who we are



The Gekatex group is global organisation with ISO factories in France, India and China ( ISO 14001). Our head office is in France and Flexipads, the UK branch, based in Bristol. We have 120 collaborators and a 30MEUR turn over.

We develop, manufacture and distribute consumables for automotive & ground transportation, aerospace, life sciences and high tech.

We supply most car plants around the globe, are working with the largest plane manufacturers and its tier 1 suppliers and our cleanroom lines are opening new doors for us.

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and driving growth within the organisation.

You will be joining a dynamic team which will help you leverage your network in the UK/ abroad and allow you to grow within the group.

Responsibilities



Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business growth objectives. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and networking. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to foster long-term partnerships. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on business initiatives. Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to potential clients. Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform business strategies. Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions using Salesforce. Provide regular reports on business development progress to senior management.

Your profile


You have a good ability to uncover and understand complex business requirements, develop custom solutions and are able to work on long sales cycles.

Minimum of 10 years in industrial or manufacturing account management, business development, or sales ( B2B manufacturing environment).

Experience in managing international accounts in automotive (OEM or AM), cleanroom ( life science / electronics), ground transportation or aerospace manufacturing is a plus.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Proven ability to negotiate, influence, and close deals. Excellent organisational and project management abilities. Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite. Results-driven and self-motivated. Comfortable working across time zones and with diverse cultures. Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (MBA is a plus). Must be based in the UK with the ability to travel internationally (up to 20% of the time).
