45K - 50K with uncapped bonus structure

About the role:




To proactively drive sales across the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Events) and group leisure sectors for Galgorm Collection, with a core focus on the Island of Ireland and Great Britain markets. The role will also support wider international opportunities - particularly in North America - where aligned with key strategic goals. Working in partnership with the Global Business Development Manager, this position will help unlock high-value group business across all properties in the collection.

The main duties and key responsibilities will include but are not limited to;





Business Development & Sales Execution

Identify, target and convert new business opportunities across the Island of Ireland and GB, particularly within the corporate, agency and incentive travel sectors. Build and manage strong relationships with DMCs, event agencies, corporate clients and travel trade partners across ROI, NI, GB and select international markets (e.g. USA) Represent Galgorm Collection at trade shows, sales missions, networking events and client meetings both at home and abroad (United Kingdom, Ireland, and internationally) Plan and deliver a proactive sales schedule of outbound activity, fam trips and lead generation to grow market share and brand visibility


Sales Strategy and Reporting

Contribution to the creation and execution of the annual sales strategy with clearly defined KPIs by region, sector and property Manage and maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline opportunities and conversion rates using CRM tools Provide regular reporting, insight and feedback to support revenue forecasting and strategic decisions


Client Engagement and Conversion

Deliver exceptional client experiences from enquiry through to handover, working collaboratively with internal teams to develop compelling, bespoke proposals Plan and host familiarisation visits and site inspections to showcase the Galgorm Collection, with a focus on converting qualified leads into bookings Promote upselling opportunities across accommodation, spa, dining, golf and wellness to maximise revenue per group


Collaboration and Communication

Work closely with the wider sales, events, revenue and marketing teams to align campaigns, offers and pricing to market conditions Collaborate with national and regional tourism bodies (e.g. Visit Belfast, Tourism Northern Ireland, Tourism Ireland, Failte Ireland) to maximise exposure and leverage opportunities Actively share market feedback, trends and competitor insights to help inform the broader commercial strategy

The Person




The ideal candidate will be commercially driven, results-focused, and confident in managing their own workload to meet and exceed agreed KPIs and business goals. They will demonstrate strong analytical thinking, excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), and a proactive, solutions-led mindset.




They should be highly motivated, competitive, and have a genuine passion for connecting with clients, understanding their needs, and presenting relevant opportunities within the Galgorm Collection. A natural relationship-builder, they will thrive in a fast-paced sales environment and be comfortable representing the brand both at home and internationally.

Essential Criteria:



Minimum 3 years' experience in a sales, business development, or client-facing role within the hospitality, tourism, or events industry Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs Strong understanding of the Island of Ireland and GB corporate, agency, or MICE markets Excellent written and verbal communication skills Comfortable with regular travel, including overnight stays and international trips Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools (e.g. Maestro, Monday.com)
