Are you looking for an exciting role working with schools, communities and organisations in Tower Hamlets and beyond? There is an incredible opportunity at Global Learning London (GLL) as Global Learning London Officer for a Fixed Term 18 Month Contract to manage our anti-racist and global learning programmes as part of a small team.



Global Learning London is a dynamic unincorporated organisation operating as a traded service within the Childrens Directorate at Tower Hamlets Council. Our mission is to bring critical thinking and global issues into the classroom, fostering education that empowers young people and professionals through our programmes and training. We are committed to creating a more just and sustainable world by cultivating creativity, critical thinking and inquisitiveness through arts, culture, and global perspectives.

About the Role




We are looking for a team member to join us and play a pivotal role in delivering GLL's strategy, maintaining our key programmes and supporting the team in our programmes and consultancy opportunities.



To manage the anti-racism and global learning programmes, trainings and consultancy of GLL efficiently, ensuring high standards of delivery.


To actively promote opportunities of collaboration for global learning, anti-racism and environmental education within all schools and their communities in Tower Hamlets and the wider London area, as well as across national and international partnerships and organisations.


To manage and support project staff and facilitators effectively ensuring high standards of delivery.

About You



A hard-working creatively minded individual with a willingness to learn and curate exciting and engaging projects. Knowledge of anti-racist practices and environmental/climate justice issues. Experience of managing programmes and working with multiple stakeholders. Experience of delivering and facilitating training. Strong writing and presentation skills. Able to work across a number of priorities at the same time. A team player, you will establish, develop and maintain relationships with our team, schools, community organisations and stakeholders.
