About the Role:



The Global Medical Skills Training Senior Manager relates to making available medical information about the company's products, and answering medical/scientific questions from internal and external demands. Also relates to the provision of medical expertise, training and guidance to marketing teams ensuring they have sufficient knowledge and information regarding the organization's products.

Key Responsibilities:



Accountable for developing and delivering performance enhancing initiatives focussed on functional skills capabilities (e.g. business strategy, operational excellence, external stakeholder engagement and field leader capabilities), across the global medical community, with the aim of driving desired behavior change of learners towards achieving business goals aligned to our Global Medical Ambition. Take a strategic and performance consultative approach to ensure performance goals are clearly identified, training needs and root causes are known, and the performance enhancing solutions are put in place to drive measurable behavior change. Act as a strategic leader within the Global Medical Excellence team and contributes proactively to the development of training initiatives that drives Ipsen towards a best in class Medical function. Proactively collaborate with affiliate medical teams including Country Medical Directors and Regional Medical Leads to understand and address local training needs and country priorities. Lead on the end-to-end induction and onboarding process of new starters within the Global and Local Medical Affairs Organization to ensure new starters are onboarded efficiently and effectively Accountable for contributing to establishing and maintaining a learning culture which promotes excitement for lifelong learning across the Global Medical community. Develop and deliver training that is engaging, embeds adult learning principles and fits into the flow of work.

Qualifications:

Educated to Degree Level and ideally with a post-graduate Degree e.g. MSc, PhD, MD, PharmD, MBA

Experience in developing and delivering training programs and other performance enhancing initiatives e.g. competency frameworks

Experience within the Pharmaceutical Industry ideally within Medical Affairs

e.g. as a Medical Science Liaison or Medical Advisor or within the Brand team Project management experience within the Pharmaceutical Industry including

experience of Veeva Systems

Exceptional critical thinking to help identify and address performance needs Exceptional communication skills Fluency in English
