At FlyForSport, we are committed to developing young athletes and helping them reach their full potential through innovative goalkeeping coaching, structured training, and expert guidance. Our goal is to provide top-tier sports education and development across various disciplines, with a specialised focus on goalkpeeing.

We are currently looking for a dedicated Goalkeeping Coach to join our team and provide expert training to aspiring goalkeepers.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement our training programmes, tailored to the needs of individual athletes and teams. Provide constructive feedback & reports to athletes to enhance their performance and confidence. Role modelling a supportive culture that encourages effort, and sportsmanship.

Communicate effectively with athletes, parents and other directors regarding progress, aligned with expectations. Stay updated on the latest coaching techniques and sports developments to continually improve training methods.

Helping goalkeepers improve their technical skills, decision-making and overall performances.

Requirements:

Deliver high-quality coaching sessions to goalkeepers, ensuring development in key areas such as shot-stopping, distribution, positioning, and mental toughness.

Follow the provided goalkeeping programs and session plans, adapting where necessary to suit individual needs and group dynamics.

Provide constructive feedback to players during and after each session.

Motivate and inspire goalkeepers to improve and perform at their best.

Maintain a professional and positive coaching environment.

Foster a strong relationship with players and their families, acting as a role model and mentor. Ensure safety and well-being of all participants during training sessions. Attend any relevant in-house team meetings with FlyForSport, to align with other coaching staff on player development. DBS certificate & previous experience working in goalkeeping coaching.

Monday's: Barking Abbey (6pm-7pm)

Age group: (U10-U12)

Tuesday's: Parsloes Park (6pm-7pm)

Age group: (U13's+)

Job Types: Fixed term contract, Temp to perm
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: 18.00-20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 - 10 per week
