Golf Operations Assistant

Location: The Burstead Golf Club, Tye Common Road, Little Burstead, Essex, CM12 9SS

Key Responsibilities:

Daily Golf Operations

Assist in the day-to-day running of golf operations.

Optimize tee-time reservations to maximize revenue whilst ensuring smooth pace of play.

Help maintain a professional, welcoming atmosphere for all members and guests.

Exceptional Customer Service

Work closely with the Golf Operations Manager, other departments and marshals, to deliver top-tier service.

Handle customer enquiries and concerns with professionalism and efficiency.

Be forward thinking and help throughout the clubhouse where you can.

Membership Support

Assist with member check-ins, renewals, and general enquiries.

Provide friendly and helpful points of contact for both prospective and current members.

Help promote membership benefits and support efforts to grow the club's membership base.

Golf Days & Societies

Support the organization and delivery of golf days and visiting society experiences.

Help ensure all groups enjoy great value and a smooth, enjoyable round.

Assist in upselling buggies and trolleys.

Contribute to repeat business by ensuring memorable experiences.

What We're Looking For:

A genuine enthusiasm for golf and helping others

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Good organizational abilities and a proactive attitude

A team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment

Previous experience in golf or hospitality (preferred but not required)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21-12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
