The Role - Golf Operations Supervisor

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Golf It! Team as Golf Operations Supervisor. The successful candidate will lead the Trailblazer Team, working with the Head of Golf and liaising with Golf It! external operating partners, when necessary, to ensure that all Golf It! golf activities, events and the reception area are adequately staffed and that an exemplary customer experience is provided at all times, in line with the Golf It! values.


To work with the Head of Golf in the management and development of the Trailblazer team and be a point of escalation for any issues, including those related to complaints, staffing and maintenance, undertaking investigation, and escalating where required, to resolve these matters in a timely fashion.


This is a full time position working 37.5 hours per.


You will be required to work 4 out of 7 working days on a rota basis. This role will include weekend work.

Who We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will have the following experience and attributes:


Some experience working in a supervisory/management customer-facing role. National 5 Maths and English, or equivalent.

About Golf It!

The R&A's purpose is to make golf more accessible, appealing and inclusive and to ensure it is thriving 50 years from now and Golf It! plays a huge part of that ambition. Golf It! is The R&A's first golf facility which opened in Glasgow in August 2023 and will create a new "pathway to golf" that is open and accessible focusing on delivering fun and being community and family orientated. Golf It! is accessible to people from all walks of life. It has a 9 Hole Golf Course, a 52 Bay two-tiered Driving Range, 3 Adventure Golf Courses, Park Golf, Simulators and many more activities. There is a street food outlet, provided by Big Feed Street Food, an onsite Nursery operated by Lullaby Lane and three Padel Tennis Courts operated by Game4Padel. Coaching facilities include Toptracer technology in every bay of the Driving Range, as well as Trackman in our Golf It! simulator.
