Overview

The Golf Shop Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the golf shop, providing exceptional customer service while managing daily activities. This position requires a dynamic individual with strong leadership skills and a passion for golf. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing shop operations, managing inventory, and driving sales to enhance the overall customer experience.

Responsibilities

Welcome customers and help them with their selections. Manage daily operations including inventory control, merchandising, and sales management. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximise revenue and promote products. Maintain an organised and visually appealing shop environment that reflects the brand's image. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Work with customers to get them great trade in prices for their existing equipment. Selling used clubs, using a golf simulator to help customers make their selection.

Skills

A great understanding of golf equipment brands, models, ages, technology and so on. Excellent administrative skills with a focus on time management and organisational efficiency. Proven track record in retail management, particularly within a sales-driven environment. Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail. Proficient in sales management techniques with a strong ability to sell products effectively. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, complemented by excellent phone etiquette.
This role is ideal for an individual who is passionate about golf and golf equipment. Someone who possesses the necessary skills to work individually to make the store their own, and a success.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From 13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
