Job Description
An excellent opportunity has became available for an experienced warehouse operative to join our busy Perth branch.
Forklift experience would be an advantage but not essential.
The position is full time 8-am to 5-pm Monday-Friday and every third Saturday 8-am to 12.30.
Duties are loading and unloading delivery vehicles as required. Checking in all deliveries with the correct delivery notes accurately and putting the stock away into the correct bin locations.
Good time keeping and housekeeping skills required.
Candidate should have the ability to work well under pressure in a team and also on their own. Have good numeracy, reading and writing skills and be able to complete all relevant paperwork neatly.
Summary
As a Goods Inwards Operative, you will be essential in managing the flow of materials into the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in shipping and receiving processes. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, your core skills in materials handling will be complemented by your premium expertise in forklift operation and warehouse management systems. You will also utilize your relevant skills in mechanical knowledge and heavy lifting to support daily operations.
