MSB is part of the ASB Group (who are 50% owned by Airbus and Total). At our facility we design, develop and manufacture bespoke products for a range of customer applications within the Military and Aerospace sectors. The Company has recently completed a significant investment programme and we continue to invest and develop our plant, equipment, capabilities and people.

Job Overview

From your first day you will gain an understanding of manufacturing and engineering as a Graduate Apprentice. You'll be involved in developing, delivering and supporting features from start to finish within the full range of our products and engineering services. You will be well supported from each and every employee within the company as you grow into your new career. Our apprenticeships offer a great opportunity for candidates looking to build a successful and rewarding career in engineering.

What skills will I learn?

We pride ourselves on offering our apprentices learning and development opportunities that will support your progress in a stable and technically challenging environment. Through a structured training plan we will enable you to achieve both career progression and your goal of achieving a professional recognised engineer status in the future. You will undertake a Graduate Apprenticeship BEng Engineering Design & Manufacture work based degree with our University Partner, Heriot Watt University commencing in September 2025 for 4 years.

You should have a passion for a future career in engineering and see this as a wonderful opportunity to work and study through the next 4 years and beyond. We are looking for a good communicator and team player. Someone with excellent listening skills with energy, drive and initiative.

Entry Level Requirements are as follows:-

SQA Highers include Mathematics, plus Physics or similar

A-Levels including Mathematics, plus Physics or similar

SQA HNC in an engineering discipline (or relevant Modern/Technical

Apprenticeship) with Engineering Mathematics 1 & 2 (or equivalent)

Foundation Apprenticeship in Engineering in conjunction with SQA Highers

at BBBincluding Mathematics
A combination of qualifications totalling 96 SCQF credits at level 6 or

Minimum 106 UCAS points

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 18,000.00-23,000.00 per year
