Graduate Building Surveyor

Are you ready to make a difference in New Zealand's built environment? We're looking for a

Building Surveyor

to join our team and provide expert advice across a wide range of property and construction projects.

About the Role

You will be responsible for:

Inspecting and reporting on the condition and compliance of residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Carrying out

pre-purchase, pre-construction, and dilapidation surveys

. Identifying building defects (weathertightness, seismic issues, durability problems) and recommending solutions. Managing and advising on remedial works, refurbishments, and maintenance programmes. Preparing expert reports for clients, councils, or tribunals.

What We're Looking For

Tertiary qualification in Building Surveying. Membership (or working towards membership) of

NZIBS, RICS

preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing high-quality reports. A problem-solving mindset with attention to detail. A current NZ driver's licence.
