Role Purpose:

This role, under the guidance of the team manager, will involve you delivering ventilation design elements from concept to handover, providing smoke and environmental ventilation system solutions which meet code compliance through design; whilst providing support and advice to the project and installations teams from concept to handover.

Preferred Qualifications/Experience:

We are looking for a candidate with a degree in

Mechanical Engineering

ideally with experience in CFD modelling and they must also have:

The ability to work independently and as part of a team Effective communication and people skills Create and Practical problem-solving skills

The Key Responsibilities of this Role will be to:

Preparing engineered designs and specifications for building engineering services. Assisting project managers and engineers with design and delivery of fire engineered projects. Carry out CFD modelling and developing/managing resources to support the design process. Providing technical support to the company's installation and commissioning teams, and contributing to the development of new products, services and control strategies. Attending design team meetings with architects, consultants and building controls authorities when necessary. Managing changes to specification revisions Work within the framework of the Quality Management System
