Timberwise is the largest Property Care and Preservation company in the UK. Founded in 1968 we are still family owned and operated. The company is organised around nine regional Branches which act as profit centres. Our Head Office is in Northwich in Cheshire. You would be reporting to the Management Accountant and be based in Head Office, Northwich, Cheshire.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Financial & reporting.

Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks Process invoices, receipts, and expense claims Perform data entry into accounting systems Help reconcile bank statements and supplier/customer accounts Maintain organised financial records and filing systems Support month-end and year-end closing activities Assist with payroll preparation and employee reimbursements Respond to finance-related queries Follow company policies and accounting procedures

Candidate Background and Experience

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts Good numerical and analytical skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office Recent graduates are encouraged to apply

Experience

No prior work experience required Internships in accounting/finance are an advantage

Package

24,479 - 26,000 per annum Hours are: 9-5pm Monday to Friday 23 days holiday increasing with service + 8 Bank Holidays Loyalty Awards Company Pension with Royal London Health care cash plan with Health Shield * Death in service benefit
