Due to an expanding workload opportunities exist for Graduate Quantity Surveyors to join the practice. You will be working on a diverse range of building and engineering projects.

Key responsibilities:

- Preparing cost estimates and plans

- Preparing bills of quantities, schedules of work, price lists, activity schedules, etc.

- Measuring in accordance with standard methods of measurement (SMM7, NRM2, etc.)

- Liaising and coordinating with in-house surveyors and externally with design team members

- Attending design team and client liaison meetings

- Carrying out post contract duties during onsite construction works (monthly valuations, assessing variations/compensation events, cost reporting, agreement of final accounts, etc.)

Essential characteristics:

- Motivated

- Strong communication skills both written and verbal

- Business focussed

- IT literate

- Ability to work effectively under pressure and to meet deadlines

Minimum requirements:

- Degree qualification in quantity surveying

- Driving license and access to vehicle

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Graduate

Pay: 25,000.00-28,000.00 per year
