You\'ll be joining our Defence Business Unit, supporting our customers to ensure that innovative and evidence-based solutions to problems are developed for the UK Armed Forces.

As a Graduate Sensors & Communications Engineer you\'ll be learning:

• Defence Cyber and Electromagnetic Activity (CEMA) applications
• Resilient wireless communications
• Electronic Attack
• Radar
• RF Cyber
• Geolocation
• To collaborate with other engineers and engineering teams to meet overall system constraints.

The Key Requirements...

• Relevant degree in STEM related subject
• Knowledge of one of the following domains (desired, not essential)
• Digital Signal Processing
• Mathematic Modelling
• Algorithm Development
• Digital Hardware Design
• Analogue Circuit Design
• Array Processing
• Embedded Software Development
• Acoustics

You\'ll spend the first six weeks of your time in a specially designed boot camp that equips you with the fundamental skills required to succeed at Roke. After this, you\'ll join a live project, continue to receive training, and start to contribute directly, building client relationships and supporting bidding activities to win new business. Your graduate scheme will last two years and provide plenty of variety, giving you the opportunity to develop a portfolio that can be used to showcase your developing skills during regular salary reviews.

Alongside hybrid and flexible working options, you\'ll find our Romsey site located within beautiful Hampshire countryside, close to the picturesque New Forest District and not far from a superb stretch of the south coast. This is no corporate, concrete jungle; this is a manor house site, with ample parking, an on-site gym and sports field.

Due to the nature of this position, we require you to be eligible to achieve BPSS and SC. As a result, you should be a British Citizen, have resided in the UK for the last 5 years and prepared to declare any travel that includes being out of the UK for more than 28 days in the last 5 years.
