Support the members of the social media team to create and manage organic and paid social media campaigns for West End Touring and UK Theatre productions and live entertainment content and online communities.
Contribute to excellent client relationships across a portfolio of accounts.
Undertake administrative duties to support the management and delivery of campaigns and reporting.
Minimum Qualifications and Personal Specification
Skills/experience:
This position is perfect for an aspiring content and social media professional looking for a career in the theatre/ arts industry. Ideal candidates will be creative individuals, who have a passion for theatre. Experience in some planning of social media campaigns is encouraged but not essential, as training will be provided.
Technology:
Knowledge of and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Google Analytics and confident in the adoption of new software and reporting systems. Knowledge and understanding of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube. Good knowledge of TikTok, Snapchat and LinkedIn.
Graphic Design
: Basic understanding and experience using the Adobe Creative Suite would be an added benefit.
Deliverables
Supporting the Social Media Team:
Contribute to social media strategies for clients to raise brand awareness, generate positive buzz, create social conversation and deliver ticket sales.
Assist in the creation of new and engaging content for social channels and client website against client briefs.
Contribute to brainstorms looking for innovative ways to engage audiences through social media platforms
Shape and adhere to the correct tone of voice and deliver on-brand content when writing post copy and engaging with fans.
Support the social team with the delivery of monthly social content calendars.
With support of the Social Media Manager and Senior Social Manager to produce reports for clients.
Contribute to excellent client relationships across a portfolio of accounts:
Build a good understanding of each client's shows, the general theatre landscape and their audiences.
Assist in driving the wider AKA team to deliver outstanding client service by anticipating, recognizing and meeting client needs, and striving for creativity and innovation across all clients.
Develops and maintains an excellent rapport with clients through all forms of communication.
Attend press nights, first previews and industry when required.
Other Duties as Assigned
AKA is a fluid organisation and advertising is a fast moving and rapidly changing business; as such you may be required to undertake duties which are in line with the general purpose of this job description but which are not specifically referred to.
Some out of hours working (evenings and weekends) are occasionally required to ensure that time-sensitive social activity is delivered when required. This includes but is not limited to theatrical press nights, gallery openings, client and industry events.
