Social Media & Content Executive

- a growing, full-service marketing agency working with brands across the UK and beyond.
This is not a behind-the-scenes role. You'll be out on shoots, meeting clients, and creating content that actually connects - not just posts that fill the feed. You'll plan, film, edit, and schedule content for a range of brands, helping them grow across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
We're looking for someone who gets social media, knows what performs (and why), and can confidently run client accounts from concept through to reporting. If you can shoot a reel, cut a podcast clip, chat to a client, and spot a trending sound before it's stale - this might be for you.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll be managing social media delivery for a selection of clients, with support from the wider team. Your role will include:
Planning content
: Working with clients to build content calendars that match their goals and tone of voice
Capturing footage
: Filming short-form video and taking photography on-site with professional kit (provided)
Editing content
: Creating scroll-stopping videos using Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar
Managing accounts
: Writing captions, scheduling content, and maintaining engagement across platforms
Attending shoots & meetings
: Regular client visits across the North East, including planning days and content capture
Creating static content
: Simple graphics in Photoshop or Canva - no heavy design work
Reporting
: Supporting with basic analytics and performance tracking
Podcast editing
: Cutting clips from our podcast for TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Reels
Paid ad support
: Helping launch and manage basic Meta ad campaigns (training provided)
What We're Looking For
We're not hiring on years of experience - we're hiring for energy, ideas, and quality of work. The right person will be:
Confident filming content
with DSLR or mirrorless cameras
Skilled at editing
short-form video (Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar)
Social media fluent
- you know what works on each platform and how to make it work for different brands
Organised and reliable
, with the ability to manage multiple projects and clients
Outgoing and people-focused
, comfortable running shoots and meeting clients face-to-face
A clear communicator
across email, WhatsApp, Zoom, and in person
Creative but strategic
- you enjoy coming up with ideas, but always with a goal in mind
Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
Bonus points if you:
Have an interest in football or sports content (for our podcast work)
Have experience working in an agency environment
What You'll Get
24,000 - 26,000
starting salary, depending on experience
35-hour week
