Kite Packaging have a brilliant opportunity for a Graduate Trainee Buyer to join their Portsmouth team. Kite Packaging was founded in 2001 with a unique vision and a philosophy of employee-ownership. You will be joining an established, profitable, growing technology-backed business and will be part of a fantastic team based in Waterlooville.

We seek a dynamic, commercially strong individual who can thrive in a pressurised and fast-moving environment. We're looking for a driven buyer with a strong commercial instinct. Ideally the candidate will understand distribution, purchasing and supply chains.

The role of Graduate Buyer:

The role will specifically cover the following areas:

Managing stock levels in conjunction with Internal Account Managers Placing orders, and day to day dealing with suppliers Processing enquires to exacting customer requirements in conjunction with account managers Supporting the internal team with effective account management

Key Skills and Essential Experience:

The successful candidate will have the following:

A recent graduate with a 2:1 minimum degree within a numeric based degree ie; Maths, Economics, Business, Finance, Accountancy or equivalent Be highly motivated Have excellent communication skills Have a likeability, with the ability to easily create a rapport with others Work within 30 minutes commute of our Waterlooville site
