We are Tribe Theatre and we are a Worcestershire based Youth Theatre, working with young people aged 7-18. We teach a range of classes and are looking to grow and develop our ability to access local and national funding opportunities.

Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Grant Funding Officer to join our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying funding opportunities, managing grant applications, and fostering relationships with funding bodies. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to Tribe Theatre's growth through strategic fundraising and effective relationship management. The ideal applicant will possess strong organisational skills and a passion for supporting community initiatives through successful grant acquisition.

Duties



Research and identify potential funding sources aligned with organisational goals. Prepare and submit compelling grant proposals and applications in accordance with funder guidelines. Manage all aspects of the grant lifecycle, including reporting, compliance, and renewal processes. Develop and maintain strong relationships with funding organisations, government agencies, and other stakeholders. Utilise CRM software, particularly Raiser's Edge, to track applications, donor information, and communication history. Coordinate internal teams to gather necessary documentation and data for grant submissions. Monitor grant budgets and ensure proper allocation of funds in compliance with organisational policies. Support organisational marketing efforts by promoting funded projects through various channels. Engage in public relations activities to enhance the organisation's profile within the community and among potential funders. Provide excellent customer service to internal teams and external partners involved in the funding process.

Qualifications



Proven experience in fundraising, grant writing or related roles within a non-profit or similar organisation. Strong knowledge of CRM software, especially Raiser's Edge. Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders. Familiarity with marketing strategies relevant to fundraising campaigns. Experience in public relations and managing organisational reputation. Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail in preparing documentation and reports. Ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively within a team environment. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, tailored for diverse audiences. A proactive approach to identifying opportunities and solving challenges related to funding acquisition. Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, Freelance
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: From 25.00 per hour
