We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Grants Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in securing funding for our organisation by developing and managing relationships with potential funders. This position requires strong skills in public relations, relationship management, and fundraising, as well as proficiency in relevant systems. The Grants Officer will be responsible for researching grant opportunities, writing proposals, and ensuring compliance with grant requirements.

Responsibilities

Research and identify potential grant opportunities aligned with the organisation's mission and goals. Develop and write compelling grant proposals that effectively communicate the organisation's needs and objectives. Manage relationships with funders, including maintaining regular communication and reporting on project progress. Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information for proposals and reports. Ensure compliance with all grant requirements, including financial reporting and documentation. Monitor deadlines for grant applications and reports to ensure timely submissions. Assist in developing strategies for fundraising initiatives to enhance the organisation's financial sustainability. Utilise software tools, to track grants and manage donor relationships effectively.

Qualifications

Proven experience in grants management or a related field is preferred. Strong skills in public relations, relationship management, and customer service. Familiarity with fundraising techniques and strategies is advantageous. Proficient in using software applications related to grant management and donor tracking. Excellent written communication skills with the ability to craft persuasive proposals. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to achieving results.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 18.00-25.00 per hour
