- Plan and deliver engaging Graphic Design lessons

- Assess and record students' progress and provide grades and feedback

- Providing individualised instruction to each student by promoting interactive learning

- Creating and distributing educational content

Job Brief



We are seeking an enthusiastic, part-time Graphic Design and Illustration Tutor to teach on our Art & Design Foundation Course at our college in the City of London. The position will commence in January 2026

.



The ideal candidate will be passionate for the job with an ability to reach out to students and create a relationship of mutual trust. They will know how to organise a class and make learning an engaging and meaningful process.

The goal is to help cultivate the students' interest in education, and most especially the field and subject of Graphic Design, and be their dedicated ally in the entire process of learning and development.

Responsibilities



Plan and deliver engaging Graphic Design lessons

Assess coursework and provide both formative and summative feedback

Support students with building university application portfolios

Complete Safeguarding training

Complete a DBS check

Skills and Attributes



Excellent spoken and written English

Strong teamwork and collaboration skills

Effective interpersonal and communication skills

Requirements



BA in Graphic Design

Previous FE/HE teaching experience

High level of competence with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop

Excellent communicability and interpersonal skills

Well-organised and committed

Creative and energetic

Strong moral values and discipline

Desirable Requirements



Postgraduate Graphic Design qualification

Professional industry experience within Graphic Design
