The Role

We're looking for a creative

Video Editor

who can turn our scripts, voiceovers and subject-matter input into polished e-learning videos. You'll collaborate with our designers, tutors and engineers to produce engaging lessons, promos and micro-learning clips. Occasional PowerPoint presentation design/cleanup is part of the role.

What you'll do

Edit and assemble course videos from supplied scripts, VO, screen recordings and assets. Add motion graphics, titles, lower thirds, call-outs, captions and simple animations. Create clean on-brand slides and occasional PowerPoint decks to support modules. Optimise audio (noise reduction, EQ, levels) and ensure clear, accessible delivery. Version, export and package content for our LMS (aspect ratios, bitrates, thumbnails). Maintain consistent look & feel across an expanding course library. Manage feedback rounds and meet agreed deadlines.
You'll excel if you have

Strong portfolio of

e-learning

,

explainer

, or

instructional

video work. Proficiency in

Premiere Pro

or

DaVinci Resolve

(After Effects or Motion a plus). Comfortable with screen capture workflows (Camtasia/OBS) and simple motion graphics. Solid graphic/layout sense and attention to detail; basic colour and audio skills. Experience designing/cleaning

PowerPoint

decks an advantage. Ability to take a brief and run with it--organised, reliable, deadline-driven.
Nice to have

Knowledge of construction/trades or technical/industrial subjects. LMS packaging basics, accessibility (subtitles, contrast, readable typography). Thumbnail/cover design and light illustration or iconography.
Pay Options (choose what suits you)

Standard:

Hourly or fixed price per video (we agree scope & rate up front).

Legacy/Passive:

Lower upfront per-video fee

plus

revenue share on each course sale. Great if you want to build long-term passive income and a portfolio at scale.

Progression:

Perform well and you can

lead the Content & Video department

with enhanced pay and commission on course sales.
