Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grounds person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a background in landscape maintenance and groundskeeping, with the ability to operate various hand and power tools effectively. This role involves working outdoors in various weather conditions, ensuring that gardens and landscapes are maintained to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

Operate mowers and power tools for cutting, trimming, and shaping plants and landscapes. Perform landscape maintenance tasks including digging, planting, as required. Build and maintain garden structures such as fences, raised beds, and pathways. Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and stored after use. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively. Follow safety protocols while working in outdoor environments to ensure personal and team safety.

Skills

Proficient in landscape maintenance and groundskeeping techniques. Strong mechanical knowledge for operating and maintaining tools and equipment. Experience with hand tools such as shears, pruners, and spades. Familiarity with power tools used in landscaping tasks. Ability to dig, plant, irrigate, and maintain various garden features. Excellent attention to detail and an ability to ensure the job gets done
