Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grill Cook to join our small team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating quality burgers with the best possible ingredients and a strong understanding of food safety and preparation techniques. As a Grill Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, ensuring that every dish meets our restaurant's standards for taste and presentation.

Duties

Prepare and cook all of the grill related items on the menu. Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen, ensuring all cooking equipment is properly cleaned and sanitised after use. Monitor food quality throughout the cooking process to ensure it meets safety standards and customer expectations. Assist in meal preparation by chopping, marinating, and seasoning ingredients as required. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during busy service periods. Follow all food safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues. Help train new kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and safety protocols as needed.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a fast food or commercial kitchen setting is preferred. training will be provided. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques related to grilling. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. A genuine passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that delight customers.
