Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grill Cook to join our vibrant kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts and a strong understanding of food preparation techniques. As a Grill Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality meals to our guests while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of grilled dishes, ensuring consistency and quality in every meal. Assist in meal preparation by chopping, marinating, and seasoning ingredients as required. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations and cooking equipment. Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards to ensure the health and safety of all staff and customers. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during busy periods. Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies. Follow recipes accurately while also being open to experimenting with new flavours and techniques.

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen environment, particularly in grilling or cooking roles, is preferred. A solid understanding of food preparation methods and culinary techniques. Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is essential. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to assist colleagues as needed. A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that delight guests.
