Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Grill Cook to join our culinary team. Training will be provided. As a Grill Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality grilled dishes while ensuring food safety standards are met. Your culinary expertise will contribute to delivering an exceptional dining experience for our guests. We do brunch and pizza.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of grilled foods according to established recipes and standards. Supervise kitchen staff during food production to ensure efficiency and quality. Manage food preparation processes, including marinating, seasoning, and grilling meats and vegetables. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the grill station and surrounding kitchen areas. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times. Collaborate with team members to create a positive working environment that fosters teamwork and hospitality. Assist in training new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, safety protocols, and menu items. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.

Requirements

Strong culinary skills with knowledge of food production techniques. Previous supervisory or team management experience is highly desirable. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality. Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead by example. A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional customer service.
