We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grill Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Grill Chef, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals while adhering to food safety standards. Your role will be crucial in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.
Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of grilled dishes, ensuring consistency and quality in every meal.
Assist in the overall kitchen operations, including food preparation and maintaining cleanliness.
Follow all food safety guidelines and procedures to ensure the highest standards of hygiene.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and service.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
Maintain equipment and workstations in a clean and organised manner.
Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety practices.
Experience
Previous experience as a chef in a restaurant or similar environment is preferred.
Knowledge of culinary techniques, particularly grilling methods, is essential.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in meal preparation.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
