Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of items, ensuring flavour and presentation meet our restaurant standards. Assist in meal preparation by chopping, marinating, and seasoning ingredients as required. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the your station and surrounding kitchen areas. Adhere to food safety guidelines, ensuring all dishes are prepared in a safe and hygienic manner. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to the kitchen manager. Participate in regular training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food safety practices.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a kitchen environment, particularly in cooking roles. Strong culinary skills with an understanding of various cooking techniques. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for meal preparation. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively within the kitchen team. A passion for food and commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
