Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of grilled foods, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish. Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to maintain food standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the grill area, adhering to food safety regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure all food is cooked properly. Assist in the overall kitchen operations as needed, including meal preparation and serving. Participate in inventory management by tracking stock levels of ingredients used for grilling.

Qualifications

Previous kitchen experience is essential, with a focus on grill cooking preferred. Culinary experience or relevant qualifications in food preparation are advantageous. Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team setting. A passion for cooking and creating high-quality meals that meet customer expectations.
