Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Grill Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a particular focus on grilling techniques. As a Grill Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment while ensuring adherence to food safety standards.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of grilled foods, ensuring that all meals are cooked to perfection and presented attractively. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the grill station and surrounding kitchen areas. Assist in meal preparation by chopping, marinating, and seasoning ingredients as required. Monitor food quality and portion sizes to ensure consistency and adherence to recipes. Follow all food safety protocols, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation practices. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods. Participate in inventory management by tracking stock levels of ingredients and supplies.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a kitchen environment, preferably with specific experience as a Grill Cook or similar role. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.

Pay: 12.57-15.57 per hour
