We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grill Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Grill Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, ensuring food safety standards are met, and contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.

Own Transport and Experience is essential minimum of 3 years working on the grill

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of grilled items according to established recipes and menu specifications. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food safety and quality. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the grill station and kitchen area. Assist in meal preparation by chopping, marinating, and seasoning ingredients as required. Follow all food safety guidelines to prevent cross-contamination and ensure the health of our guests. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service periods. Help train new kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and safety practices.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or similar culinary environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, particularly grilling methods. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that delight customers.

Pay: 12.21-15.00 per hour
